Section23 Developments is a diversified collective specializing in architecture, land development and housing, with a track record spanning more than three decades. Our roots, however, go back more than 75 years to the establishment of Ollerenshaw Ranch in what is now southeast Calgary.
Founded on the Ollerenshaw family’s legacy of pioneering spirit, we are inspired to develop differently, always respecting the land, our heritage, and the value of good design in creating environments that connect generations.
Create dynamic, inspired built environments fostering a legacy of social connections for all generations.
Transform unique opportunities into exceptional environments.
Our value system is founded on trust, integrity, respect, passion and curiosity.
An enduring family legacy was established in 1923 when Joe and Florence Ollerenshaw settled Section 33, a parcel of land south of Calgary, Alberta. Later, their son, Fred Ollerenshaw, expanded the family farming and ranching operation with the purchase of nearby Section 23, the current location of the Ollerenshaw Ranch.
Today, Fred’s son Robert builds on his family’s rich heritage of innovation, experimentation, entrepreneurial spirit, self-sufficiency and social participation with the evolution of Section23 Developments.
Principled, authentic, inventive – these are the unique attributes that define the Section23 team. With a dynamic breadth of skill and a reputation for results, our people consistently exemplify Section23’s core values as we collaborate to realize our mission and vision.
